Katie Daily is a DONA International Approved Birth Doula Trainer based in Washington, DC. She is also a mother of two, and a Certified Nurse Midwife. She is the DONA DC Representative. She facilitates independent workshops in Washington, DC and trains nursing students as a Clinical Instructor with the Johns Hopkins University Birth Companions Program. Katie has trained over 350 doulas through DONA.
Katie started her birth doula journey in 2007. She grew from a volunteer doula to coordinator of the doula program while at Family Health and Birth Center. Katie has worked with DC based maternal and child health nonprofit organizations since 2005. Past roles included health educator, outreach worker, prenatal care services coordinator, and community health worker trainer. She is fluent in Spanish.
